Pursuant to the provisions of the state building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing
codes, in accordance with section 8b(6) of Public Act No. 230 of 1972 (MCL 125.1508b(6)),
the building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing officials of the village are designated
as the enforcing agency to discharge the responsibilities of the village under Public
Act No. 230 of 1972 (MCL 125.1501 et seq.). The village assumes responsibility for
the administration and enforcement of such act throughout its corporate limits.
