§ 74-111. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Available village water distribution system means a village water distribution system located in a right-of-way easement, highway, street, or public way which crosses, adjoins, or abuts upon the premises or passes not more than 200 feet from a boundary of the premises.

    Water connection means that part of the water distribution system connecting the water main with the premises served, however lying outside the boundaries of the premises served.

    Water main means that part of the water distribution system located within easement lines or streets designed to supply more than one water connection.
